Introduced across the SILOKING range:
Kverneland SILOKING heavy-duty magnet
Kverneland SILOKING’s removable heavy-duty magnet protects animals and machinery by capturing metallic foreign objects in the feed. Unlike conventional systems, the innovative design allows the SILOKING magnet housing to be removed externally from the feed mixer, eliminating the magnet’s holding force during cleaning. This enables captured metal particles to be removed quickly, safely and without risk of injury to the operator.
TrailedLine models now benefit from:
Kverneland SILOKING BasicControl
SILOKING BasicControl is an electrohydraulic control system, developed specifically for TrailedLine models. Designed with user-ease in mind, all machine functions are arranged logically and can be operated intuitively. Ideal for daily use, the control box is IP65 certified, making it dust and splash-proof.
Kverneland SILOKING Vario
SILOKING Vario is an optional stepless transition available on selected TrailedLine diet feed mixers. Delivering smooth operation, the stepless auger control allows the auger speed to be adjusted continuously, reducing starting torque and load on the PTO clutch.
SelfLine models now benefit from:
Kverneland SILOKING Dry Scan
Real-time dry matter measurement for self-propelled feed mixers.
Consistent feeding starts with a consistent ration, but fluctuating dry matter levels in forage can make this difficult to achieve.
The SILOKING Dry Scan system determines the dry matter content of the feed in real time during loading. As a result, the fresh matter is automatically adjusted so that the ration is consistent every day, supporting stable rumen health, reducing feed waste and avoiding empty feed tables.
Kverneland SILOKING Feeding Management Software
SILOKING Data combines weighing, ration control and feeding management. It supports precise loading, ration documentation and daily feeding control.
The radio-controlled weighing system, SILOKING Data, supports the operator throughout the feeding process, from loading and weighing to mixing and discharging. When used in combination with the Feeding Management Software, it enables precise analysis, monitoring and management of feeding data. Accurate documentation is becoming increasingly important for improving efficiency, controlling costs and supporting profitable farm management.
Kverneland SILOKING NIR – Near InfraRed Spectroscopy
By mounting Kverneland SILOKING's NIR System at the front of the self-propelled milling head, you can monitor feed composition, rather than relying on estimation.
This technology, which is available as an option on all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled machines, makes use of near-infrared light to analyse the dry matter of the forage components. It enables continuous, non-contact and non-destructive real-time analysis. (This equipment can also be retrofitted.) As dry matter content can vary significantly within the silo, accurately calculated feed rations are essential.
An incorrectly calculated feed ration brings four major disadvantages:
- Lower feed efficiency
- Metabolic issues for the cow
- Varying milk yields
- Higher amount of feed residue
Refuel with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)!
All Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine Diet Feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onwards, are approved for use with 100% renewable diesel: HVO. The use of HVO diesel helps reduce emissions in dairy farming.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a renewable diesel alternative produced from waste-based raw materials and has been proven to reduce CO2 emissions by 90%, compared to conventional diesel. One of the major advantages of HVO is its close similarity to conventional diesel fuel, allowing it to be used directly in any mixing ratio without modifications to the machine.
