Lamma Show Proves Triumphant for Kverneland

Lamma 2012 yet again showed its strengths as the UK’s number one machinery event for farmers and contractors, as Kverneland met customers old and new over the two-day event.

Lamma Show Proves Triumphant for Kverneland

With an extensive display from its machinery ranges, the Kverneland stand was constantly busy. From flail toppers to the very latest display in GEOCONTROL fertiliser spreading equipment, there was something for British farmers to experience across every level of farming.

“We enjoyed massive interest in our latest technology, GEOCONTROL and its GEOSPREAD and GEOSEED software components,” says Joe Bell, managing director of Kverneland UK. “There is huge demand for intelligent machine control systems like ours that increase accuracy, reduce input costs and ultimately, make farmers much more profitable and more efficient.”

He says that the company’s latest developments with spreading fertiliser in a much more accurate and efficient manner is something that many farmers were keen to look at in more detail.

“And the development of our own spreading chart app for smart phone users combined with the know-how from our own Mechatronics centre and test hall, will help farmers with any Exacta spreader to move forward and get the best from their machines.”

In addition, the huge Kverneland exhibit that occupied most of Hall 1 included a range of mowers, seed drills, cultivators and ploughs. Customers also took advantage of the latest in finance offers and welcomed the opportunity to find out more about Kverneland genuine spare parts – in particular how they can save you money.
