Flexibility from Top to Toe!

With the FlexCart, Kverneland Accord is introducing a new seed cart with 4,300 litres hopper capacity to improve efficiency e.g. when seeding maize with fertilizer placement application on larger fields.

The new FlexCart is fitted with a strong cross shaft for Cat III tractors which easily copes with the weight of a full carriage. With a track width of 2850mm, the turning angle of the draw bar can be up to 90 °. Even at this angle the PTO shaft is still aligned with the tractor. The FlexCart is fitted with 560-60 x 22.5 tyres and air brakes for transport speeds of 40km/h.

The FlexCart is fitted with a Cat II three-point linkage which allows quick and easy connection of the Optima or coulter bar. Hydraulic control can be switched from Optima to filling auger via the pre-select control terminal. The filling auger is hydraulically folded. A single acting control valve with free flow return drives the Optima fan.

The fertilizer or seed is transported from the FlexCart to the coulter bar with a PTO driven hydraulic fan. The two fertilizer metering devices with micro metering are controlled by sensors. A radar sensor is fitted to the carriage for exact speed control.

Hopper access is easy via large loading steps and external platform as well as several steps inside the hopper. The work lights ensure a good view inside and outside the hopper. A low-level seed control with two sensors ensures safe distribution.
