Kverneland has developed a new generation of ploughs for modern farming: comfort in transport and in operation is a must.
All the fundamentals of the original Kverneland ploughs remain: robustness, easy settings and high ploughing performance. The aim is also the same: to optimise profitability for farmers and contractors by producing ploughs with low running costs that achieve quality soil preparation for high quality crops. Robustness is achieved by the design of Kverneland parts as well as the unique steel heat treatment and a pragmatic design means set up is easy.
The Kverneland 2300 S Variomat comes in three to five furrow versions and is equipped with the headstock No. 200 for high performance in any soil conditions with easy adjustments even in tough conditions. Low lifting capacities and low draft means low fuel consumption and low wearing of parts.
Bear in mind that Kverneland ploughs enable ploughing with one extra plough body compared to competition for the equivalent pulling force requirement. This means higher productivity and more capacity for the same cost 25 - 45hp per body is recommended.
Innovations that count for both ploughing and transport:
Trailer Transport Solution (TTS) is a unique solution enabling the plough to behave like a trailer. The TTS offers maximum safety to the driver and anything or anyone around.

Aero-profile legs for optimal flow in high residual content or cover crops.
Auto reset is easily adjusted with 2 screws to remove or add an external spring.
Skimmer depth adjustment is quick, central and simultaneous.
Frame mounted wheel to plough up to edges, or rear mounted (mechanical or hydraulic) for best ploughing performance.
(Kverneland 3300 S Variomat)
Unique memory cylinder for the hydraulic wheel enabling short triangles at headlands. This means less overwork and better agronomic practices as well as better weed control and flatter soil seedbed preparation.

Variomat system ensures ploughing can be done in any soils conditions. Vary the ploughing width “on the move” and optimise fuel consumption. The first body repositions itself automatically and the pulling line adjusts automatically for quality ploughing with no extra draft and wearing of parts. The Variomat system is maintenance free.
Packomat or front and trailed packers for immediate re-consolidation and no extra fuel consumption with the Packomat. Two operations are done in one pass. The packer follows the plough from ploughing to transport.
