More than just a roller
Trailed Kverneland Actiroll Classic, Actiroll and Actiroll HD/HDC rollers have been designed to ensure efficient soil compaction and levelling, either after seeding for an optimum germination or after winter frosts.
Furthermore, they reduce the soil porosity and limit evaporation in dry conditions.
The exceptional steel quality used for the rings allows us to extend the warranty time to 3 years on Crosskill and Cracker rings. Up to 6 years on Cambridge stone ring.

Cambridge ø 500mm
Ideal for ballasting young plants (for a better contact between the roots and the soil and increase the sucking). Can be used after ploughing as well (with Clod Board) or after a prepared field. Good auto-cleaning effect.
Cambridge ø 550mm (from 5.30m classic up to 24.30m):
Same function - used for heavy soils
Cambridge ø 600mm (from 6.30m to 16.30m):
Same function - used for heavy soils
Crosskill ø 530 mm (whole range) and heavy Crosskill ø 600 mm on Actiroll HD/HDC only
For tough clods and stony conditions, good auto-cleaning effect in wet conditions because of the ring diameter difference
Cracker ø500mm/ ø550mm
These rings are able to run cleaner due to the movement of each ring. They also apply a downforce for a better contact of the seeds to the soil. The result is a loose top layer that prevents capping and underneath firm layers for a better root development. In combination with a cracker board, these rings are ideal for seedbed preparation, to fight against weevil on maize stalks as its habitat for hibernation is destroyed. They also support the tillering of grass and seed germination thanks to a better seed-to-soil contact
