Precision seeding is straight forward with the Kverneland Optima R

After the successful launch of the Optima RS at the last Agritechnica, Kverneland is now launching the Optima R as the lighter version complementing the full range of rigid Optima models. The straightforward Optima R is available in working widths from 3.0m to 6.0m and is the cost-efficient alternative for different farm sizes.

The Optima R is ready for universal seed application and can be equipped with the full range of Optima sowing units as there are the standard and tandem as well as the heavy-duty HD-II and the high speed SX sowing units. The Optima R can be set at row widths from narrow 35cm up to wide 80cm for maize respectively up to 150cm for pumpkins. Sowing of sunflowers, sugar beet, rape or soya beans is also possible.

All Optima R frames are available with mechanic or electric drive, thus, are ready for GEOCONTROL® and GEOSEED®.

The Optima R can be combined with a large central fertiliser hopper which has a capacity of 1,000 litres for max. 8 rows or a front hopper system to reduce the set-up time. The micro-granule applicator, micro-drill, is also available as an option.

For the most precise application of liquid fertilizer, the Optima R can be combined with the Kverneland iXtra LiFe. The liquid fertiliser can be placed close to the seed row in one go. The smart electronics on both seeder and front hopper communicate so the application starts and stops together with each individual row. This precise nutrient placement is key to increase efficiency, to save resources and money.
