Kverneland Demonstration Team Takes to the Road

Kverneland is looking to provide its dealers and customers with a greater level of product support by creating a UK-based demonstration team. Doing so has resulted in the creation of four new roles for machinery specialists who have been appointed for their wealth of practical working knowledge of farm machinery.

The team comprises Steven Grigor covering Scotland and the north, David Perry based in Wales and the west Midlands, Roger Banks located in the Eastern Counties and Charlie Thornton-James covering the south West region. All have considerable practical farming experience and are keen to share their knowledge of Kverneland equipment with end users.

“The Kverneland portfolio is one of the most extensive and sophisticated machinery ranges on the market, and the team’s primary role is to support the continued growth in our business across the full product range,” explains Joe Bell, managing director of Kverneland Group UK.

“This also includes delivering a greater depth of technical knowledge with Kverneland products to assist dealer sales personnel, which extends from machine set-up to in-field performance,” he says.

“With the creation of our demonstration team, we now have an extra level of knowledge and expertise in place, to provide our dealers with the additional support that they and their customers deserve.”

The team has been supplied with four state-of-the-art Isuzu D Max pickup trucks from Hampshire-based Kverneland and Isuzu dealer R Hunt Ltd. In Yukon specification, the D Max pickups are equipped with lockable truck tops, a 3.5 tonne towing capacity and have access to twin axle machinery trailers to assist with on-farm demonstration and installation of Kverneland equipment.
