To meet the increased demand for mechanical weed control, Kverneland has introduced a triple finger harrow option for Turbo and Enduro Pro cultivator ranges.
With stale seedbed production in mind, the triple finger harrow works in combination with a wide cultivator point – where the point makes a full cut through roots at a shallow working depth, the finger harrow then pulls the plant onto the surface so it dries out and dies.
The harrow uses three rows of 16mm diameter, 750mm long fingers. The harrow frame is hydraulically operated, allowing its depth – and ground pressure – to be independently adjusted in relation to the cultivator tines. Further adjustment is available for individual rows of tines.
