Kverneland returns to LAMMA

Kverneland Group UK made a successful return to the LAMMA show last week, displaying Kverneland machines at the NEC, Birmingham. After five years away, KVUK’s return to LAMMA aligned with a surge in visitor numbers.

Kverneland returns to LAMMA

The two-day show saw over 40,000 visitors, creating the perfect opportunity for KVUK to unveil the latest product innovations including:  no. 40 body, PUDAMA system, Onyx weeder and low disturbance narrow tine on the ts-drill, all drawing in visitors that kept the team busy with enquiries.

With hats, pens and shopping bags being the typical freebies you can expect to receive at a show, KVUK decided to take a new approach by giving out complimentary milkshakes from a specially designed bar, in the back of a Vicon FixBale 500, demonstrating support for the local dairy industry and highlighting a focus on minimising unnecessary waste. This proved to be a popular feature of the stand as the milkshake suppliers, Barlaston Milk Barn, had to restock the fridges in time for day two, after over 1,000 cups were served on the first day!

A highlight of the show was receiving the IagrE environmental award for the PUDAMA system. Judges could clearly see how targeted fertiliser application during maize sowing would reduce the negative impact on the environment, awarding gold for environmental innovation. This made the PUDAMA display a feature on the stand with many visitors making a beeline for the Kverneland seeding specialists to discuss its benefits.

The KVUK team are looking forward to an equally successful LAMMA show next year with a new stand location in hall 12.
